eye strain management

The busy professional is subject to the possibility of eye strain brought about by a number of reasons including but not limited to prolonged periods in front of computers.

Some simple suggestions to reduce eye strain include:

  •  Blink often
  •  Ensure you have adequate lighting
  •  Take frequent breaks when working
  •  Sit correctly - with your seat well positioned and your eyes in line with your computer
  •  When reading hold your book at least 30cm away from your face
  •  Wear good sunglasses that provide adequate UV protection
  •  Check your eyes regularly
